The Indonesia Scientific Society (ISS) is a nonprofit organization committed to nurturing the next generation of innovators by orchestrating nationwide and international science olympiads, inspiring research competitions, and comprehensive teacher-development programs that collectively cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and a sustainable culture of scientific excellence across Indonesia.

Our Vision & Mission

The Indonesian Scientific Society (ISS) has a vision to advance the world of science and education in Indonesia through 3 program areas, namely Collaboration, Competition and Development. The main vision of ISS is to promote, recognize and support excellence in science, provide scientific advice in the form of policy, build global cooperation, education and public engagement and be an institution that demonstrates the importance of science to all people.

Olimpiade Biologi Indonesia (OBI)

Olimpiade Biologi Indonesia (OBI) adalah ajang kompetisi nasional di bidang biologi yang diselenggarakan oleh Indonesian Scientific Society (ISS). OBI bertujuan untuk menggali, mengembangkan, dan mengapresiasi potensi, minat, serta bakat pelajar Indonesia dalam ilmu biologi.

International Applied Mathematics Olympiad (IAMO)

IAMO is an olympiad in Mathematics participated by students from grades 9-12 which is held routinely every August in Bandung City, Indonesia. In IAMO, participants will pass a comprehensive test, final round and grand final round.

International Applied Chemistry Olympiad (IAChO)

IAMO is an olympiad in Chemistry participated by students from grades 9-12 which is held routinely every September in Bandung City, Indonesia. In IAChO, participants will pass a comprehensive test, final round and grand final round.
